Alex doubtful for the derby
Fenerbahçe’s Brazilian star Alex de Souza could miss the match against Galatasaray as his injury does not seem to be continue. Depending on Alex’s condition Fenerbahçe coach Luis Aragones should have to make choice between Guiza and Semih. However some pundits claim that Alex is not injured and because of the fact Fenerbahce plays better without him, the club has decided to use the injury of Alex as a cover, to prevent criticisms.
Injured player Edu will go to Brazil. He’ll consult the doctor of the Brazilian National Team and will go under surgery in Brazil, too. According to various media sources Onder Turaci will replace Edu in the rest of the matches.
It has been also reported that the former Galatasaray player Emre Belozoglu tries to motivate his teammates for the derby match and prepares himself special for the match.
