Coloured report by Milliyet firmly denied by FC Shakthar http://www.turkishfootball.org/2009/09/04/coloured-report-by-milliyet-firmly-denied-by-fc-shakthar/ http://www.turkishfootball.org/2009/09/04/coloured-report-by-milliyet-firmly-denied-by-fc-shakthar/#comments Fri, 04 Sep 2009 13:36:16 +0000 admin http://www.turkishfootball.org/?p=1838 http://www.hurriyet.com.tr/_np/1389/8731389.jpg

Milliyet’s report about Elano was firmly denied by his former club. Milliyet has staged a false report about Elano’s professional ethics based on the claims made by FC Shakthar Donetsk officials but the report was firmly denied by Elano Blumer’s former club.

Newspaper’s of Dogan Media Group including Milliyet, Hurriyet, Vatan and Fanatik is well known for their hatred against Galatasaray.

Here is the statement by the FC Shakthar Press Office:

The Turkish supporters are misled
04-09-09 14:29:54

Some of the Turkish mass-media, www.milliyet.com.tr in particular, published materials, where FC Shakhtar CEO Sergiy Palkin had commented on Elano as a difficult player to cooperate with, giving negative appraisals for FC Galatasaray management. FC Shakhtar denies this information as being false.

- I am surprised at such information, Sergiy Palkin said to FC Shakhtar Press Office. We always appreciated Elano’s high professional skills. He left Donetsk honourably, on mutual agreement. I do not understand where the Turkish reporters could find such negative information. And the stranger thing is that it had been put down to my words. I think the Turkish media must publish their official denial. Otherwise, all Turkish supporters and football publicity will be misled.
